About the Role
The duties listed may seem a bit daunting, but we'll help step you through everything.
You can start with a project as simple as planting a few trees in someone's yard. As you gain experience, you should take on more complex projects.

Duties and Qualifications:
Duties:
Find locations for environmental-restoration work.
Contact land owners.
Present our mission.
State what we offer.
Ask what work they want done on their land.
Coordinate with the land owner(s) and management to determine scope of work.
Go to project location to get a better feel for the land and feasibility of an environmental restoration project.
Determine what equipment is needed and how long said equipment will be needed.
Estimate number of volunteer hours required to complete a given project.
Obtain required permits and line locate tickets.
Track project progress.
Lead safety meeting before work begins.
Contact the main office if safety equipment is needed.
Log volunteer hours.
Qualifications:
18+ years old
Capable of walking on uneven, slippery, and/or loose terrain
Proficient with reading and writing in English
Passionate about the work
